Listening to 10/20/68 Greek , I hit the guitar break before "lady fingers..." and it was over for me, "I'm eight sided whispering halleluja hat rack "

TGIF people !

and G'day down under WT, (not sure what day it is down there, lol) GO CELTICS !

Looks like both the Celts and Lakers will be more than well-rested. Being in Phoenix, I'd love to see a Suns/Celts match up, but it just aint happening this year.

Laker blood, indeed.

There was another thread about the Eleven recently with a lot of good suggestions. The versions from the previous week at the Avalon are the perfect blend of raw and power and melody, in my opinion. Phil really stomps around. 10/13/68 is one of my favorites.

Yep; the Eleven is THE song that always did it for me jam wise...StSt for lyrics. Those two have rec'd more air time with me, probably by far, than any other DEAD tunes.

Notice that in this shot, the wife and I have are getting in a bit more excericse...

Keep the faith, Celts fans; we'll meet soon enough, I think.

More in a few days...

Hey Mr. Tell been away from the board for a bit lately but did I listen correctly and you are currently Down Under in my section of the planet. Let me know and I may be able to direct you toward some interesting subjects in your possible vicinity. Let me know you got this and I'll leave my info for a bit.

Hey B--thanks for the kind offer, but I am afraid the Mrs Tell has everything "booked" for the next month, and we are now off to pts north of Sydney for an extended "outback" experience that will apparently leave me without means of email and the like...I had forgotten about your whereabouts, and again, appreciate the sentiment. We have been a few times, so do know our way around in general (lived in Perth for six months years ago on uni work, etc.).

Take care all, and here's one more of the interesting critters at our latest hotel.
